Guys, our rooster slammed himself on one of our Australorp pullets and she won’t put her leg down now. What should we do for her? He was being really good then out of no where he forced himself and I saw her leg fall out underneath her.

It didn’t feel broken to me, and but she is limping and laying down. We’re figuring out a plan to separate right now.

Okay she’s in, she has room to move away yes. She was standing on it more which is a good sign, she just roosts really high so we went ahead and put her in for tonight so she didn’t hurt it more.

She’s laying down. The poor sweet girl! I never really got close to the Australorps but I didn’t realize how sweet she was until I was holding her and she tucked her head against me. Her name is Pepper, she was leg banded today, and her twin is Pimienta. The twin isn’t as sweet lol. All the 21 weekers have spice related names, well except Sweet Pea who isn’t so sweet to the others.
