Quail can easily handle those temperatures without adding heat.
I kid I kid.
They better be able to handle it.

I think they did fine with my heat...my cold is not really cold.
I might really worry if it gets closer to freezing weather this year though.

It was 22°F here yesterday morning. The high for Wednesday was 32°F. At some time during this winter it is very likely to get down to -30°F with a high for the day that is less than 0°F.

I do not provide heat for any of my birds because it would prevent them from properly adapting to the ambient temperatures.

How do you go outside in that nastiness...:sick

This is too often an occurrence. :heCows just meandering and/or grazing on my property. Usually there is about 5 of them. Just 2 this time finally heading back up into the woods behind my house to go back home. No they aren’t mine. They are my neighbors who don’t know how to do proper fencing. :barnie Good fences make good neighbors y’all! :rant

We have that problem as well. WE have good fencing but his animals have destroyed it in places. Add to that he doesn’t take care of them so our place looks like Nirvana. I feel bad for them but I had a standoff in my truck on the driveway with a long horn and I had to wait him out. I would have won a confrontation but he could have done some damage in the meantime. I’ve found cattle herding via paintball to be quite effective. :)
