We have no idea. We are thinking it was a hawk, and then the chickens finished plucking her. It was raining hard all day long. I’m about ready to kick Negan out, he’s not doing his job at all.

The weather is ridiculous.
The rain has stopped in my area for now, it will start back up soon.
We probably have enough time to go hit the streets for a little bit but the Mini has changed his mind.
He doesn't feel like going out anymore.

We are going to go ahead and just stay home and hand out candy instead.

Finally packed my last relative into their plane. I haven't been gathering eggs in a couple days so i want surprised to find six eggs in the nest box, buti was shocked at the size of one of the eggs! I'm waiting until my mom gets home before cracking it open.View attachment 1577282

Yes. The second Delilah goes broody again (if she doesn’t die of a broken heart first) I’m putting whatever duck eggs I can find under her. She was the reason we realized Ditzy was missing. She was unusually quiet, and looked so lost.
