➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

A little good news found my way. The Incubator Fairy made the connection and a 3rd hand incubator has been gifted to our little slice of paradise. Verified working by the Incubator Fairy and currently residing with DD#2. DD#1 will be trekking back from too close to Canada in 10 days and will transport it south, hopefully, ahead of fuzziness. (we don't drive in snow, ice or deep water. shallow water is fine. Mud is fun!)

We are requesting no rain, snow, sleet, large trucks or dark of night for the journey south. A long and arduous trek that it is. Future SIL has earned a new badge and can now triumphantly drive a manual transmission for this mission. He will brave the great white north and go rescue his love. Love conquers all!

I would like to blame @Texas Kiki . It is her! Or should that be "it is she!"? For pushing the crazy switch a little too far.:clap

I would like to thank the lovely Incubator Fairy! @Pugsabi - may all your eggs be fertile and pip on the big end! :hugs

And Mrs. Clause for setting the wheels of fate in motion. :love (I do believe!)

You're welcome, dear. Happy early Christmas.

:celebrate:ya:ya

Now what?
Pluming and electricity?
yup and gas
I got a quote for electric yesterday. Applying for a permit tomorrow. Plumber/gas fitter coming for a quote tomorrow.
Now I need to find someone to fill in the hole in the floor where the basement stairs used to be. The electrician needs that done before he can wire in for the breaker.

You're welcome! But it's all Kiki's fault!

There are six cuties.
Lily had a rough day. Surgery revealed an ovary with cysts besides the spay and she was going back into a heat. She has been sleeping most of the day and refusing to eat until I hand fed her this evening.
Poor thing.
Did they remove the cysts while they were in there?
