Boy was I WRONG on AGE! :gig:gig:gig:gig:gig
But I think this means I should put her in with Noah and both girls and let Noah dominate and mate with her and let them work things out? I guess with the interaction that happened yesterday, she wasn't "frozen" and at all but was trying to be submissive. I was so off base. :thI just wish Noah would realize that he doesn't have to keep trying to bite and rip at her feathers.
:celebrate:yesss: I knew it! :ya How cute! Noah knew she was ready :gig I would still keep an eye on her and him but let him get her fertilized too. It may end up just being that and then he’s good.

My layers never bother the broody hens. Those broodies valiantly defend their chosen nest...screaming and pecking any who approach.

Sounds like wind burn and chapped. Our go to treatment is "bag balm". There are several brands that are not greasy. Besides farm centers, some pharmacy and hardware stores carry it. Or try Burt's Bee products. I also like anything with Shea butter...also not greasy.

:weeWhoop! :yaWhoop! :wee
Annabelle can now be integrated to the duck flock.
If Noah is more gentle with Luna, then the feather grabbing should ease up as their relationship progresses.
I love bag balm. I picked some up a few months ago and I use it nightly on my feet. I even use it as chapstick and hand lotion and guess what...it's somehow not greasy like Vaseline.

Woohoo!!! That's awesome! I would say to put her in with the main group and just keep an eye. He doesn't sound like a bad sort, just wants her to know that he's in charge.
Very neat, btw, to get an egg from your new lady!

The Faker got weighed in today for his surgery on Thursday.
A whopping 3.6 pounds!
Rangerdoodle, my cat, weighs three times that. I like to think he's not fat. The other cat weighs four times that. He is most certainly a fat cat.
How old is the faker?

He will be one in almost exactly one month.

Tomorrow is my first day back to yoga class.:D

Man, he is freaking small. I don't think I've seen one that small in the reals. I would be afraid to let him outside for fear of hawk attack.
There was a huge bald eagle nest in Gig Harbor on top of an old power pole for years. The pole finally needed to come down and they found upwards of fifty collars in that nest.

Same type of yoga? Same teacher?

He gets to run like a maniac in my back yard for a few minutes at a time...supervised of course. He is fast.

Same nutty class and teacher.
She's been on me to come back and I really wasn't sure if I could but I'm going to try again.
