When we went for the pre-op the other day the vet could feel his ball way up there and thought he was going to be able to take it out the regular way but he couldn't so we had to cut his belly open too.That makes sense! Poor guy.

In my experience Metacam didn't help my dogs or my rats. Give the Arnica a try! Yes, great to have on hand for first aid traumas like bleeding, cuts, bruising - which pretty much describes what happens in surgery when you think about it. Works for people too, acute pain from injury, not chronic pain.
