It is so warm here that I just found three duck eggs in the dogloo in the duck pen. Oh, and my very first two call duck eggs!!! They're green. Ruth became very quiet a few days ago. She is NOT a quiet duck so I figured she'd be laying soon. I took the first two, but I'm going to leave all future eggs and let her hatch them out. She's laying in the dog house where she sleeps, so that's good.

To our California and Utah friends, how bad is the Newcastle's outbreak? I've been reading that all of California is in a mandatory quarantine? Where exactly have the cases been reported? All I can find is it was in four counties earlier this week and "spread" to the whole state as of today.
