Thanks!! Meet and greet went well, mostly just hung out lol and covered in dog hair

And dentist went well. He couldn’t really see anything and the x ray was fine and no change from the last x rays (only a few months ago) so figured I must have just bruised it or something cause what hurt was kinda the lip attachment in there. I didn’t really think that I bruised it considering it randomly started and my face to me seemed a bit swollen but I didn’t argue lol although ironically, today it hurt less/kind of stopped hurting, not totally, but enough that when they were trying to feel around and be like where does it hurt, it wasn’t but it did hurt a little bit still and I remembered where it was so was able to say plus they did finally press the right spots but kinda funny. But anyway, then he started getting up and was gonna leave but was asking if I had any other questions or whatever so I mentioned the little piece that fell off a month ago (but was kinda incoherent/mumbly) and kinda just like this little thing kinda like fell off a few weeks ago/kinda had to repeat myself a bunch and louder cause I was mumbly and didn’t coherently say like “yes this little piece fell off this tooth a month ago” I was kinda more just like ya this thing kinda fell off. Idk how to explain it. But idk if he really understood what the problem was but then he did sit back down and look at and then found it and was like oh I see what you mean, that’s this can be fixed with this I was like okay. I think he said it was a little roughness or something and could be fixed and wouldn’t need novacaine so he did it right then, think he said he bonded it it or something, but it was kinda fast, idk. And also at the end he was like not sensitive anymore right? And I was just like “no” but really, it was just as sensitive as it was before lol i dont think it really fixed it. And I don’t think the issue was really just roughness, i mean a piece literally fell off lol but that piece had been sticking up/rough for a while anyway, and it could have been an old filling? Idk. Also didn’t tell me if I had had a filling there before or not haha but I mean, I guess one thing is kinda “fixed”?? And the other is apparently nothing? But I also don’t feel like they really even looked that much and it was also a different lady than i usually have but idk, I’m paranoid I have cavaties cause there’s like some weird little brown spots but they didn’t say anything so I guess they must not be but I kinda wanted to ask about those too because I wanted to be sure but oh well I guess. But I do think it is a little weird they didn’t notice the one thing until I said something so I kinda wish I asked about the other stuff cause maybe they might have noticed something else then too. But oh well I suppose lol

We had a foggy morning for pouring concrete.
Now visibility is down to 1/8 mile and the fog is so thick droplets are falling.

Perhaps the painful area was part of the salivary system that lubricates your mouth. Sometimes a small plug can cause swelling and pain. The plug dissolves and things open back up.
Sounds like you had a layer of enamel crack and then break off leaving a sensitive spot. That crack can be rough and then the chip falls out. Bonding is the easy "go to" fix and can last several years ...if you take care of those teeth.
I had several on one front tooth for many years. Now the front teeth are caps.

And huh, never thought of that. I am sure that is probably what it is!!! Doesn’t sound too serious? But curious why it would happen? Does that mean my teeth are bad/that I wasn’t taking care of them? Seems kind of weird for a piece of tooth to just fall off ha and it was like that for a while before it fell off. I wonder if I start taking care of them more if they will get stronger?

We don’t like eggs hehe. Mom says that 5/6 are laying now, not sure who is the slacker. I’ll have to do the pelvic check next time I visit.
