@dpenning I can start walking my neighborhood pond... Where my ducks live and look for eggs.
I can but I'm afraid of the goose and just recently a new mean goose arrived so now there are two meanies that don't let me get out of my car.
I have never seen an egg there before. I think someone else steals them already.

My geese (wild, not really mine) are sitting now. Not sure if she started sitting because her clutch is full or just because it has been below freezing the last two days. It will be interesting to see how many chicks she has this year. It has been 7 each of the last two years. They get mean during incubation.... daddy goose has to protect the nest. They have been remarkably tolerant of my ducks, which was one concern I had.

Street and his girls have started laying lots of eggs but the only ones I can get whole are the ones in the water and I put some of those in the bator and no joy was found. They are laying consistently tho so I'm just going to have to walk around more times each day to try and catch the eggs on the shore before they get broken.
