How does one get into rehabbing an owl?? :pop

Regulations for here are taking a class and a test once a year and volunteering at a wild animal vet or the like. It’s very rewarding and I suggest anyone look into it to help our wildlife. You must have an approved cage as well and you have to clean it daily.

Very interesting! I've done squirrels before and almost took in a raccoon but didn't have the setup requirements then. I will have to look into this!!
What does your cage look like??

You know, I don’t even have a picture of it. It’s 10X20 feet made of wood beams and has a dirt floor with concrete walls 3 feet tall then wire up another 7 feet. It has a nesting area and plenty of tree limbs. I haven’t done an owl for 4 years. I might need to get the place re-evaluated.

Does it have to have concrete, or is that just a personal preference?
