Sad to report the little Dinky passed thru the night. Poor lil thing had great spirit.
The siblings are doing great. No other eggs have pipped so I'm tossing them today.

Tagging banding and vaccinating 9 calves this morning. Then planting potatoes and summer garlic and clean up the two asparagus beds. Also plan to put the supports on the pens for the wire top and shade cloth...will see how far we get.

I just got off the phone with a detective from Flagstaff, AZ. Apparently, there's a man in Houston selling stolen semi trucks/trailers and putting my driver's license number on the bill of sale. The DL number is from an old California license I had when I lived there about 13 years ago- my ID was stolen (along with my truck) 13 years ago... and someone sat on it for THIRTEEN YEARS before using it. Crazy.

Wow! I hope they catch them.

I went to buy fencing for my chickens, almost caved and bought a little buff orpington and a blue laced wyondette... it took ALL of my self control.

I went in to Tractor Supply the other day and I always look at the chicks they have. They had a bunch of Silkies in the Bantam Bin. All of those sweet little balls of fluffs. I thought to myself, it would be neat to get a Silkie for my Bowie (white silkie) and then I could have Silkie babies. The min purchase is 4 tho so I was able to control myself. But then there was a couple there... getting chicks. It's sad that the thought of asking them, whom I do not know at all, if they'd add a Silkie to their purchase for me and I would pay for it so I could get around the minimum. LOL! I refrained tho. It was not easy.
