Here's hoping she lives a long and healthy life! I only know to try these birds because of you and Banty. I have high hopes for them.
Lost another hen (just started laying) to yet another crappy neighbor dog yesterday, so I can use the extra layers! The jerk face dogs always seem to know to take the nice, young new layers. Lost three hens since these jerks moved in, the other neighbors lost two hens and had their fencing torn up, another neighbor has a missing kitty. No more. That dog is a goner if I see it on my property EVER again.
