I spotted the first snake I've seen this spring today. An eastern black kingsnake. I *almost* stepped on it as it was exiting the tall grass and heading into the driveway. It flicked its tail faking like a rattler. I was not fooled. But seeing a kingsnake makes me happy since they are known to eat copperheads.

Well y’all, got a call today that one of my Aunts had a massive heart attack and she passed away. I’m doing fine but ma’s a little shaken. It was her sister. Any prayers would be welcome.
