:he Why are the office workers at every school incompetent jerks. The school had me graduating as an associates of art and not science, and so I went to the registrar to have that changed. He cancelled the degree for arts, and told me that I was good.

Then I checked right after, online, to see if I was graduating as an associates of science and it said I didn’t have the credits and that I wasn’t graduating. :smack So I went RIGHT BACK IN and asked the lady at the desk why I wasn’t getting those credits on my science degree. She said she didn’t know and that it wasn’t her problem, “go talk to an adviser, it’s not my job to fix it”. :smack:smack:smack

So now I’m waiting in the advising office and I’m going to lose my freaking mind. I swear if I lost those credits and that they won’t be transferred to my science degree to graduate this semester...

All but 6 credits, TWO CLASSES, transferred over but I still can’t graduate. I just gave up, I’m so frustrated. So now I’m basically skipping right over the associates and just getting my credits for the bachelors. It’s apparently less work to do that than go for the stupid associates. Makes zero sense

This is all within the same school, just transferring credits from one program to the other. One of the courses that didn’t count? Was a SCIENCE class. How does a science course not count on a science degree???

Most of my courses that I need for the animal science bachelors will transfer over, aside from two classes, one being my fault (chose the wrong section number) and the other being this science course that apparently doesn’t count for any science degree. :he

I’ve just gotten to the point where I’ve given up fighting it

Did you go back to the registrar? The original person who told you that it was good? Go back to him!

He disappeared after I went back in, then I saw him later “busy” with a military student. All he was doing was telling the student to look up his question on google and that he’d watch. :barnie I’ve been told by a co-worker that it’s nearly impossible to register for more classes if you graduate so I guess it’s a blessing in disguise.

So one more class or two to get the associates of science?
Would that be one more semester for the associates or will you transfer classes for the bachelors and begin to finish the full degree?
As a side note...
Sounds like the lady at the desk either doesn't know her job or does not care. The registrar is only pulling a paycheck.
Neither staff member is a service to students.

Two classes, but these classes also count towards my bachelors degree plan. After I finish out the transferable classes that are available at the community college then I’ll be transferring to the university to get my (3?) classes I need for vet school and also apply for vet school while I’m there because as long as I’m finishing the pre-req courses the semester before then they’ll look at the application.

Will that one science class you have already finished fill an "elective" or supportive slot? Sure hope it will.
Glad you have the goals in line!

It doesn’t fill any spot apparently, that’s why I am so confused by it. I was under the impression that it did count as an elective slot but the adviser told me that it doesn’t count. :barnie It’s a good thing that class is basically a blow off class that I haven’t put much effort into while keeping a 96. My organic chem will finish the slot easily and the physics and maths will be just extra credits towards my bachelors

Baby bunny pictures, starting to look like actual rabbits. Still not sure what colors I will get, I don't remember the kits being so dark last time.
