Got a first egg from one of the spring pullets! It's one of the two red sexlinks and she's 17 weeks. The egg is small but perfect and she put it in the nest box like a pro.

I have ridiculous tan lines right now if that counts for anything

I mostly wear t shirts and shorts 24/7 and I’m outside way more in the summer so I’m really pasty under those and then really tan everywhere else.

I don’t really burn and tend to just tan haha I usually burn like a little bit towards the beginning of summer but then it just turns into a tan and then from there on out I just get more and more tan as summer goes on haha by the end of summer I’m ridiculously dark lol I’m part Portuguese so that’s part of it haha my grandma always got crazy dark in the summer too but even more so than me. I guess I inherited that haha not a bad thing to inherit.

But I’m mostly English and Irish with a bit of Dutch and I think German thrown in so that’s why I’m a ridiculously pasty little thing until summer

I might do an experiment this year though and see if I can stay tan all year round haha or at least spring, summer, and fall. Might involve me going outside more often though.

I should really be outside most of the time anyways. Currently it’s kind of the opposite.

Don’t know if I’ll be able to wear shorts and t shirts year round though.
