Do these things grow wild? We’ve lived here for 20 yrs and I’ve never seen them before lol. How could it have gotten here? I have so many questions. Maybe from birds? I think we found another vine. We found where the vine was coming up out of the ground. We are trying to clear this area because it is very overgrown. So we cleared around it and put a tomato cage thingy around it. Then was doing more clearing and think we found another vine. So we’ll try to save that one as well. I guess we need to make some kind of trellis or something like grapes grow on?

Yes, we have wild passionfruit, grapes, prickly pear, persimmon, blackberries, and black raspberries here. And I'm surely forgetting some. They're all edible.

They'll grow up a fence but they'll sprawl across the ground just as well.

I have a thornless Honey Locust that came up from a seed.

You know how popular those "fruitless" pears are? We have them EVERYWHERE and have never planted a single fruitless pear tree. They make tiny little fruits (dime sized at the biggest) and the birds spread the seeds far and wide. It's a weed tree epidemic.

Thornless locusts are an awesome tree. I wish we had more of them. They are great for wood (I think). These with the thorns are a nuisance.

They really should be listed as a noxious weed. They also spread by runners.

Kinda sorta related but not reslly, i wonder if its just me or it is infact impossible to make potato salad with less than 200 servings? By the time im finished i have a huge pot full lol not complaining though. I love it with fresh french bread.
