But actually I never turn my phone fully completely off so they’re actually right. To unlock it/turn it on you do hit the home button. Or just pick it up. Mine has facial recognition but I don’t use it but it knows when it’s in front of my face lol

It depends on the model or brand though. Every smart phone is different and the new iPhones don’t even have home buttons.

Huh. That sucks. Did you hold the button down long enough? Sometimes you gotta hold it down for a few seconds to get it to turn on. Will usually turn white I think.
