I'll never get things done today if I have to read novels like this. That second part made me laugh
But I’m the same way tbh. I can spend a ton on the pets, make sure they have the best whatever, but then meanwhile I only have like a few pairs of sneakers I wear daily and mostly wear t shirts and shorts daily and eat like crap most days![]()
That said, I do somewhat have a problem with buying like band merch or books or whatever.I’ve been better lately but occasionally have a bit of a spending problem but I don’t spend it on anything useful lol clothes or shoes or anything
Meanwhile the pets all have sooo much stuff![]()
And thank you. That does make me feel better tbh.
It’s lame but sometimes I have to do that or I won’t remember.
Sounds nasty LOL
X2! On all of it lol cottage cheese popsicles sounds disgusting lol
And yup! Whenever I eat like shit, processed foods, sugar, etc. it’s a given that I will both feel like shit physically and mentally and usually get depressed. It’s a real thing. They say food can have a huge impact on your mental health. Grain/bread too.
AH HA! So that’s why you wanted me to shovel so much earlier... you enjoy it!
I definitely don’t but I will try it if I can manage to without barfing everywhere![]()
Currently trying to eat lunch.
You know, I think this is karma for my mom and I making fun of my dad about his cold and wondering why he was laying around so much, saying it’s just a cold, quit being a baby, get up and do something, etc. and thinking it was just “man flu”......![]()
yeah.... this is a horrible cold. I feel like dog shit.
Definitely karma.

Try! Or a vitamin mix drink at least.
x2
Okay ewwwwww.
No lol
true
So you would do something but it didn’t work lol
X2!
good idea.
Me too lol
Me too ha
Good idea but I do think you should find another therapist.
Good idea.
You are already keeping a sleep diary. Should be simple to just add food to it.
X2! On everything. I’ve definitely had days where I don’t even go outside all day.
But I feel like shit. So going outside definitely helps. I always feel better once I do haha
X2
I think he needs to find a new therapist.
Very true. I used to write stuff down/journal a lot and it did really help.
I’ve never reread mine though, I think it would just make me depressed all over reliving it and especially I was pretty negative/nasty/mean in it. Thinking of burning it lol
Those are fast and easy but no sure they’re the healthiest but eating anything is better than nothing at this point.
Good idea.
I don’t think it will. Internet/phone/social media addiction is a real thing and can make you feel worse.
X2!! It’s very real.
I really believe it would help you rather than hurt you. Being on the screen too much does not help depression and possibly even causes it. I would know ha
You should try going for a walk, reading a book, hanging out with your animals, drawing/painting, writing, anything other than being on the phone or computer. I really believe it would help you. And maybe it doesn’t have to be for a whole week or two whole days or anything like Kiki said. Maybe it starts with a couple hours. Or even maybe just an hour at first. If you can’t get off it for a whole hour, start with 5 minutes. Get up, get a glass of water, walk around a bit, come back. Baby steps. But I really believe it will help you.
That is awesome!!
Hopefully.
I really do not think it will. In fact, they’ve done studies that show that excessive phone/internet use can actually make you feel more isolated, lonely, depressed, etc. that’s because you have so many friends online, followers on social media, lots of likes, whatever but none of them are there in real life and usually when you’re online, you’re inside or otherwise isolated from real people/real life. So being online too much actually makes you feel more isolated. Do you have any IRL friends you could hang out with even just for a little bit? Or siblings? Go hang with your animals even. Just get off the phone temporarily. I promise you will feel better. I know it’s hard, I’m usually on my phone all day every day, rarely put it down, always on here, Twitter, or FB, and it’s hard to put it down and pull yourself away but I’ve been trying lately and you can too. Technology addiction is a very real thing just like any other addiction and you have to break the cycle. I promise you will feel better if you do. No one’s saying you have to just throw it away and all of a sudden magically be super productive but it starts with baby steps. Force yourself to get up out of bed, force yourself to eat, force yourself to shower, force yourself to drink something, etc. and it will be hard. Not gonna lie. But then I promise it will start to snowball and you will feel better. Just gotta keep one foot in front of the other and keep pushing on, pushing through. You’ll make it.
I know you can do a lot more than that.
true lol although ours often are the source, the farmers or small people go there hah
X2. I hope they know how he is feeling. You really should tell them, Carp.
What about something IT related? You are good at computers, right? I think you could easily do something like that and you may even be able to find something where you can work from home which might work for you.
You are super smart so I know that you will get past this and you will find a good job and have a good life
Oh wow! I can see why you rescued them! Would have too tbh haha
Oh wow that is a tiny farmers market! Haha I think I’d feel bad then too lol we have a few different ones here and they’re not too expensive but some of them are and some have like crafts or whatever too. They’re not huge though, more than 6 but not a ton. Idk. I like them. But now my garden’s so huge I don’t really need to go to them.![]()
