Oddly enough, on vacation (which we don’t really go on much but still), I get bored sitting there want to do stuff/see stuff. :lau I guess it’s just at home that it’s an issue cause I could never just like sit on some beach or something. Ha

Although usually even here, I get bored sitting eventually, and do go something but I have a very bad habit of just driving around or walking around stores and not doing what I’m supposed to be doing. :oops:

But I’ve been slowly improving. Yesterday I did a ton. Probably more than I’ve done in months.

I am somewhat paying the price for it today, way overdid it and got myself completely worn down and sick, but I did at least still do a few things today so it’s still better than usual haha



Usually, at least for me, I don’t intend to sit somewhere for long but then I get roped into the phone :oops:

But even for me, as addicted to the phone as I am, I don’t just sit there all day, but what I do tend to do, which is a very bad habit I need to work on, is I tend to accidentally sit and plant for hours sometimes before doing stuff. So, for instance, say I wanna go to the store, or say I just got out of the shower or what to eat lunch or whatever, instead of going to the store, I will sit there, usually with my shoes on, not going forever, or I’ll get started on the phone and not make my food for forever, or not get dressed or whatever, like I tend to accidentally get sucked in and forget what I was originally doing :oops:

I think I might need to start locking my phone in a drawer or something so I can just go when I wanna go or do what I wanna do and not accidentally get sucked in :oops:

Cause for me what usually happens is I’ll get it out to read one thing, watch one video, check it for 5 minutes, and then I find one more thing to read, one more thing to watch, and accidentally get sucked in. :oops:

So for me it’s kind of an accident or more phone addicted or something. Cause when I don’t have it, I practically work until I drop as you saw yesterday. :lau

So I think what I need to do is lock my phone away for a week or something haha

But that said, because I’m not used to working so much, I also have problems with pacing myself and tend to go crazy and overdo it. I guess for me it’s kind of all or nothing which is a problem. :oops:

I need to work on finding a middle ground.

You must have missed that post. I think it was only a couple of days ago when I mentioned where I grew up.

I still pronounce it the way I learned it as a kid.

I’m going to work on using it less though or at least like putting it down for a few hours a day haha

Even once I do though, I’m sure it’ll still take me a while to figure out how not to overdo it. :lau :oops:

I guess my thing is once I start working, I don’t want to be lazy and keep telling myself to do more more more even if I’ve already done a ton :oops:

What I do need to do though is work on getting up earlier and going to bed earlier so I can get even more done/stop wasting the day. Cause even when I do decide to put the phone down, usually the whole morning is already wasted and/or it’s afternoon already :oops:

But I guess for now it’s good cause I don’t think I’m ready to be up and working and moving an entire day yet :oops:

Although, that said, I am a night owl and tend to be running around or doing stuff even late at night so I still do stuff, just not early. I should probably work on adjusting my schedule though cause then I do that and can’t sleep and wake up later.

I definitely need to seriously work on it. It’s a work in progress. But I need to try harder. Cause the weird thing is, I actually like hate sitting here, I just get sucked into the phone. And also whenever my parents go out of town or anything, I cook for myself, clean up, etc. and am running around, being the exact opposite of lazy, and wearing myself out when normally I would sit there. It’s very weird. Especially because even if I want to sit there or relax, I’m constantly like “nope. Can’t. More to do.” :lau :oops:

So I almost feel like I need to move out ASAP ha

Yeah, I definitely need to start taking charge and actually doing stuff :oops: did make a giant 4 page list yesterday though and have been slowly crossing stuff off on. Well, quickly crossing stuff off yesterday :lau

Today I did somewhat revert but I’m not going to let myself tomorrow.

Been chugging elderberry syrup, hot tea with honey, and powdered vitamin drink packets, in hopes of getting over this cold ASAP but even if I’m not better tomorrow, I’m going to force myself to work through it ha
