Ziggy's getting his big guy canine teeth in but they're all coming in next to his baby teeth. Not excited about the prospect of having to get those extracted. Anyone have a positive outcome story they want to share? Preferably one where the baby teeth ejected themselves.
The weird coincidence is that my almost 14YOs are in the process of getting the last of their baby teeth extracted, too. Their teeth are just too dang tight so the permanent molars are trying to head off course rather than pushing through. This normally happens at age 10-12 but, you know, we like to keep the tooth fairy waiting around here.
I think I have read that sometimes the adults come in besides the baby teeth but that they baby teeth usually fall out later? So hopefully that’s what’s going on with Ziggy’s.

As for human baby teeth, funny thing, I still have one of mine. The other finally fell out a few years ago. Was actually eating a brownie and my tooth fell into it

Anyway, the current one is showing no signs of coming loose anytime soon. And I’m pretty sure I don’t have an adult tooth under either of them. So I now have a gap on the other side but it’s a few teeth back so you can’t really notice it unless you look closely and I don’t mind. Read some horror stories about infections from implants so afraid now

Plus they’re expensive.
Anyway, my dad has the same thing so I guess mine is genetic? I can’t remember if his eventually fell out though. I think he has implants or crowns or something? Or maybe still has one. But idk.
