➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Reminds me of a scene in Art of Racing In The Rain when the dog claimed the zebra destroyed all the toys LOL

Oh wow that’s a lot of pressure cookers!! You must love them. I will probably eventually get more or maybe other devices but for now just the one. Got the 6 qt size.

Aww they’re adorable!!

And OMG the crochet ears would be so cute!!

And you seem like you are finally almost all caught up! :D :celebrate
No! You will not need more pressure cookers. One is enough.

:lau well I might eventually when I am old and have kids or lots of friends/parties or something or both! :lau didn’t mean anytime in the near future :lau

Although even then one will probably be more than enough. But you never know haha

Hmmmmm...what kind of wall heater?
Here you go.
https://www.eheat.com/
Wall-mounted convection heater, no fans, completely cool to the touch. The only one of its kind.
Could the Tramadol be causing his confusion? SIL was hallucinating on it....can't take it.
I sure hope not! I’m still watching him like a hawk. This week is a trial run to see if he can handle tramadol long term.
He still hasn’t pooped which I’m not happy about.

Also.... I told you these tan lines were ridiculous... literally so ridiculous... :lau  my legs are bad too but at least those won’t show in the dress lmao

I don’t know how I’m gonna fix this in 3 weeks.... took me all summer to get this tan :lau I hope the photographer is good at editing :lau

It is called a farmer's tan! Hubby never wears shorts...only sweat pants and jeans. His white legs can blind you! :lau

Because I forgot earlier lol.
He worked a turnaround and needed the sleep so I stayed up because I’m just that good of a wifey.
And we know he appreciates you!

Theia gets full body tremors. She’ll also drool, hyperventilate, pace, and cling to the nearest human for dear life. It sounds cute but it’s really not when you’re trying to sleep or get stuff done, and this will last for several hours before and after it actually rains.
She can’t even hear you when she gets going.. you could shout her name and she can’t or won’t react in that state. It’s very debilitating. She’s held her pee in for 48 hours once during a rainy week.

It starts long before the weatherman says it’s going to rain. I suspect she feels the atmospheric pressure change.
She’ll even start to panic if you flash a flashlight in the rhythm of lightning. It’s bad. I try to gently desensitize her but it’s really hard when her trigger threshold is so low.
Red, our Catahoula/lab would do that too. Started after we had the 5.7 earthquake. Every storm after, he would freak. Spent a lot of storms in my lap with Gracie, the Australian shepherd. They both improved after age brought deafness.
I did use a quality cbd oil for both of them only when we had week long storms. It did help.
Neither Ruby or Lily have anxiety issues although Ruby is new sound sensitive.

Omgosh! Poor girl! And poor you as well! :hugs Hopefully you'll find something that will work to ease her anxiety. :fl My littlest dog Marley (jack russell/chihuahua) will get the full body tremors. My other girl, Maggie (pit/lab) just wants to hide under a desk where you are sitting or find a dark spot in the hallway. My boy, Buster (lab/pyrenees) , either tries climbing up in your lap or laying under/on top of your feet under your desk. And yeah, I believe they can feel the atmospheric pressure change. My Buster always starts reacting earlier before any rain gets here.
Red would hid under the desk when he heard the weather/newscaster getting excited over the coming weather.
Priscilla laid an egg today! :celebrate I thought she did yesterday but I wasn't sure exactly whose it was. But today I know for certain she did. I'm so happy! Hopefully the broody urge has passed for her. :fl As for Daisy, I just don't know what to make of her. She laid an egg today. She sat and sat yesterday. Slept in the nest box again. Shooed her out first thing this morning but after going potty, eating and drinking, back in the box she went. She did lay a small little egg and then continued to sit for a few hrs. Finally got up and went outside. Now she is back in the coop, sitting on 2 fake eggs. I tried having a talk with her. She just fluffed and and complained at me. But I wanted to make sure there weren't any other eggs underneath her lol. I wonder if her broodiness will pass like Priscilla's did. She seems worse than Priscilla was but maybe personality can have something to do with it. Priscilla never fluffed up or complained at me. But she is pretty calm and friendly. Daisy is a bit more skittish around me. Idk. I'm going to keep an eye on her and if it persists, I guess I will try to break her of it. No unauthorized incubators here. :smack

Kiki had to go babysit her mother's moo cows for a day.
Her internet is horrible.

What!? No moo cow pictures?!

Thank you. Will check that out!
Try a little banana or a raw egg if Triumph will eat it. Hope he passes one soon.

Theia's face says "They just exploded!".
Lily does the same thing, even destroyed two dog beds and a blanket before she matured.

Love both my pressure cooker and my slow cooker. I actually have 3 different sizes of pressure cooker/canners and 2 pressure cookers.

Yes. Ruby Rose (5.5 years old) is full blood RR with a ridge and Lily is a ridge less Ridgeback (1.5 years old). We adopted Ruby when she was 4 and got Lily as a 3 month old pup.

Yes. Someone sent us that on Facebook a while back. Creative. I also got a pattern for crochet ear covers for a calf :lau.

Neat! I asked bc I've only actually known one other person who owned them and she was a ranch lady too. She had one purebred and one that was some sort of RR & mountain cur cross. It was Black brindle w/ a ridge. It was a neat looking dog. Seeing yours in your ranch/farm setting was just a little nostalgic. I went to her property to fish in her ponds as a kid. She and her husband bred quarter horses and it was like a little dream world for me then.
