I definitely do! I know chili con carne is literally meat with chiles and that is the root origin of the stuff we call chili.

But, it's a category, not a recipe. Most people put tomatoes and other spices in it and a lot of us include beans. That doesn't make it "not chili" or most people at the chili cook off would be DQed.

I make multiple different kinds myself and I don't use a recipe. I'm crazy like that. And that's after being raised on chili being made with ground beef, canned beans, and a spice package (exactly the same dish every time...)

Exactly!! Lol I think chili is as unique as every person making it and every region which is what makes it awesome and why there’s chili contests lol

That said, yeah, we always did ground beef, canned beans, and canned tomatoes.

And the powdered spices you pie lol though never a mix.

Sonic Drive In started in Oklahoma. Since I was a teen, we could get Frito Chili Pie with onions and jalapeno. No longer a staple menu item for Sonic.

People every where don't eat Frito pies?

Must have lots of onions and a good squirt of mustard on it.

I love water too aha although I have a major sweet tooth.

But lately I’ve been feeling really weird and idk why but I’m hoping it’s nothing related ha
