Some people claim that is debatable. The currant bushes are convinced that it is fall since they already have their fall colors. We normally have had a fall freeze by now but since it froze so late this year, mother nature is being a little bit kind lately.

I don't know about "kind" but this year has been weird. I wonder what kind of winter we are going to have. Is it going to be rough (let me clarify-rough for us) or is it going to be strangely mild. One extreme or the other. I don't know if it is going to be "normal" this yr. It hasn't been a normal kind of yr so far. So it just makes me wonder. It all comes and goes in cycles. I should've picked up a Farmers Almanac.
