➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Sorry.

I was only asking cause I said I was gonna get it then they started with all the no don’t/telling me not to so figured I’d ask since that was kinda giving/not giving me permission anyway. :lau

But I knew it was bad the whole time/wasn’t actually serious, don’t worry lol

And you gotta add 2 to that number! 25. And a half lmao
Sounds like you were just wanting someone to make the decision to not buy it for you.
Maybe you should skip the asking silly questions part and just start wearing a “what would Kiki do?” bracelet. ;)

Nahhh. Or at least I don’t think so. Idk.

:lau that’s an excellent idea lol

Something totally unrelated to food....

I had to take my dog Marley to the vet for her rabies and heartworm yearly testing and prevention. The vet recommended a different product that they got in recently for heartworm prevention that wasn't Heartguard (which is what I normally do). It's called Proheart and it is an injectible. It is either in a 6 month supply or a 12 month supply. They had it in a 6 month supply before but they ended up going with the 12 month supply because it ends up working out cheaper. It was $69 bucks and comes with a $20 rebate. So $49 bucks for a 12 month shot that is given once and done. I was happy. But it goes by weight of the dog so the price can vary. Although my dogs think the heartguard and flea and tick chewables are treats so they didn't mind taking them. I was willing to give it a try. We'll see how it goes. The other 2 dogs already had their heartguard bought so I haven't done it for them.

I’ve gone through the drive thru for just a cup of ice before.
Pure heaven on a long and hot road trip.

They let you do that!? :th

:lau I need to make myself one of these!!

I love this one too. Very fashionable. :lau

Oh my goodness, you're all chatty tonight.

So, here is my secret for not indulging too often. Scratch baking. No mixes, nothing pre-made. I won't take the time all that often so it limits itself. Convenience makes it too easy so don't let it be convenient.

That is an excellent idea!!! I think I will stick to this philosophy lol

I normally don’t have any trouble resisting this stuff, walking right by it and/or putting it back, whatever, usually walking by without grabbing it at all, but idk, tonight I was in a bit of a weird place haha actually all day. obviously didn’t actually need permission, was kidding, but even so, I was getting a lot of anxiety over it and I even later called my mother :lau  not to decide or anything, I was already putting it back, so more just to talk haha I know it sounds ridiculous and stupid but it was really hard to not get it and I stood there a while thinking. But then again my anxiety is through the roof today anyway and I’ve been off all day for a lot of reasons. Heck, even right now it’s sky high, I’m shaking, and the tears started flowing for no reason a while ago lmao So I have a feeling this is a lot less about the dessert and a lot more about my weird ass mood today.
