I once downloaded this separate browser/app that doesn’t allow any tracking or anything, Duck Duck Go, but it got too annoying remembering to use a separate browser and I don’t have anything to hide anyway, so I gave up.

This mentality is a problem today. It doesn't matter if you have something to hide or not. You are an American citizen and you have a right to privacy. We shouldn't have giant corporations invited into our homes/lives to spy on us so they can gather information to better hock their wares. People are too wiling to fork over their rights in the name of convenience.

Hmm, I do agree there and it does kind of annoy me they get away with all that crap, most of this stuff is just now coming out, they’ve gotten away with it for years, but at the same time, the technology is useful/cool. Though I won’t get Amazon. They’re too creepy. and I do disable tracking and the ad targeting and all that stuff as much as I can. And disable microphone and camera and location access on most apps unless they really need it. Most don’t.
