Wow. That’s so sad. Bittersweet that he had a final moment of comfort.
It takes an amazing person to become good friends with the person who accidentally killed your spouse.

Thank you. My issues seem trivial compared to sis and BIL.
Boomer has had it rough this month. He wavers on eating and has an infection in his knee we are treating. Last two days his appetite is huge and may have turned the corner. Still two more weeks til the stitches come out.
Girls are ornery as ever.
Soon I will be packing up some more day lilies with a few surprises. The weather is finally breaking...makes gardening much more enjoyable.

He left her to die. I don’t know how much more you could not care lol.

In other news, I almost just got pummeled by a bike, so that’s nice.

My mom's friend got hit while riding his bike a few months ago.
Poor old man died.

Glad Boomer seems better! How’d he get an infection in his knee? Another cut or something? Poor guy can’t catch a break! Glad he’s getting better though and hope he continues.

Glad the weather’s good! It’s been a bit cool here this week hah or at least today but today was partly cloudy so gets cold when the clouds block the sun but it did come back. Anyway, this week it’s been sunny and warm during the day and then typical cool fall weather at night or in the mornings so it’s been great, perfect. Not really too cold either.

The loss must be incredibly hard to bear and i cant imagine. I told my DH and he said he would have to stay home from work to console me and take over the child care
