Btw it’s finally raining.

The cool breeze feels great. It was soooo hot today.

We finally got a sprinkle today. It’s the first rain that we’ve had in... I don’t know how long actually. It’s been a really long time! We were in a burn ban because it’s been so dry. It was a welcome sight that’s for sure.

We've had a little bit of rain here and there but then now the last few weeks it’s been really dry. I think we had like one or two little sprinkles maybe but haven’t had much rain. The last 4, 5 days especially have been unseasonably hot, dry, sunny so we definitely need the rain! And the cool down. Although we probably don’t need the rain as much as you. Funny, beginning of summer or even mid summer was a lot of rain but now it’s pretty dry.

This was dinner tonight....love my slow cooker.
Made coleslaw and roasted peanuts early this morning.


Put the Lima beans on at 10 am and turned it to low temp at 6:30 pm for dinner at 7pm. Had coleslaw and cantaloupe too.
Also cooked Brussels sprouts for lunch.


And hubby found this photo today and sent it to our granddaughter.

I came across an abandoned car while hiking the other day. It looks like an old Renault. I wonder how it got there.
