I guess you will just have to meet again then. :hugs
I’m not too upset about it, I just think it’s funny. Like, I finally get to meet a good online friend and I’m too high to remember any of it.
That’s some monkey’s paw bullcrap lol.
I was so worried you were going to freak me out with a seizure. I'm soooo glad you didn't because I probably would have pooped my pants.
That would’ve been a bigger health hazard than the dang skull!

That really is bull crap!! Lol I also find it so odd that it’s even possible to meet someone, a real human, and just... not remember it. Forget entire chunks of time. Musta been some powerful drugs. :lau

And lmao agreed!!

Sooo sweet. You captured some really tender/sweet moments. :love

Oh man, she’s scary.
Cute little thing, mom is beautiful too. Love your photos as always, Mr. Elk.

:lau she’s trying so hard!!

We had a deer visitor today too!! She’s been hanging around a lot lately. Almost hit her with my car last night cause I spooked her pulling in and she darted across. My pictures aren’t anywhere near as good as Mr. Elk’s and it was through a screen so as to not spook her but I got some. Luna was very interested lol and oddly the windows were wide open but she wasn’t spooked by my mom talking on the phone or anything. Yet she gets spooked and runs when I pull in the driveway. Sometimes runs away totally, sometimes sticks around. She’s been around maybe a few days to a week?? So far alone. At least I think it’s the same deer. I think she’s young but idk. Anyway, here’s my pics.

Deer bark!?
They certainly do. When they spot you and cannot automatically determine what you are, they will first bark at you and then stomp their foot in order to get a response from you that will allow them to determine whether or not you are or are not something to be feared.

Thank you.

I screwed up last night and forgot to close a gate. The 2 year old buck was resting under my crabapple tree but immediately went back out through the gate as soon as he saw me. Two of my young turkeys had gone out through the gate and being turkeys were walking the fence instead of coming back in through the open gate. I herded them back in and closed the gate behind him and the turkeys.

When I went to put the poultry in for the night, I heard a bleating that sounded like the neighbor's kid goats. I looked over and the fawn was standing by the gate wanting out. I opened the gate for her but she freaked and ran the other way. I lost sight of her when she went into the plum trees but feel pretty confident that she snuck past me and went out the open gate. If she didn't leave, I will find out tomorrow because the gate is closed again.

I respect the process, but pork makes me so nauseous. I just can’t eat it.
I still haven’t told either sets of my in-laws yet. My poor MIL makes a stuffed pork dish every time I visit.
:gig

This is why I’ve never had one and never will. I have family and friends on there that spend all their time “debating” (arguing) political or religious topics.. I have better things to do.
Quite frankly, it would harm my relationship with some people more than it would benefit it. Lol.
When members of both parties live under one roof, it makes for some respectful debates. Don't need to read the Facebook hoopla too. I only check family, my friends and the Columbian Wyandotte group page.

There is a lot going on currently, classes are incredibly overwhelming but not just because of the content, and I’ll probably have some really bad news to report tomorrow... let’s just say I’ve been sobbing for almost 2 weeks straight. :(

In other (good) news, a random video of Bella and Kevin playing is going viral on FB so that’s fun.
Praying there is a positive resolution in your future...successfully completing classes and your health and happiness.

idk if this will work link wise but there y’all go

thank you I’ll have more to share tomorrow if I can
Love the video!

Hope you’re gonna take a nap or something with your free time! You deserve to relax. :hugs

Cheese toast sounds absolutely nasty. Unless it’s like really good cheesy garlic bread or a very intentional grilled cheese sandwich and/or good cheese and bread. But just like regular white bread and cheap cheese then EW.
I make a killer south west grilled cheese....with onions, bacon and jalepeno and cilantro (instead of spinach)

She is a spunky little doeling. Looks like mom made her apologize too.

Huh, very interesting. I never knew that. Ours just freeze and stand really still and stare at you/try to figure out whether to run or not.

And oh wow! Sounds like quite a spectacle lol hopefully she got out!! :fl
