Sorry.
Maybe both? Idk. Just never heard anyone talk about it ever and I think I’m too young for it to have been popular then. Idk.
I was more focused on Disney movies and boy bands back then![]()
It’s okay though, didn’t take it as an insult haha but was it a very popular show? Cause I know some kinda odd stuff, like I love a lot of 80s movies and 90s music and stuff like that, but I’ve never heard of that one but I don’t really listen to radio so maybe that’s why? Unless it wasn’t radio?
Anyway, yeah, should probably read more haha but even so, I don’t think it would necessarily be mentioned? Idk.
I’m gonna start anyway though ha
Nobody’s really answered my question yet though.![]()
Thank you! Don’t really listen to radio much and cassettes were long gone before I was even born so maybe that’s why.
Wow that sounds amazing. Now I wish I’d heard of it haha
Had to look that one up.![]()
Thank you!! I was gonna look it up anyway haha still had to look up some of the other words though.![]()

The Shadow was (among other things) the inspiration for Batman![]()
What! They're not gone. I use them all the time.
I listened to the old Shadow Radio Program on CDs I borrowed from my dad. So that is still no excuse! You’re an exception.
Idk, they just weren’t really around anymore I didn’t think? Or rarer? Everything had moved to CDs by the time I was born.![]()

Radio show from the 1940's. The Shadow. That was made into comics, movies and novels. Cthulu was also popular. Sherlock Holmes made the transition better than others of the same ilk. Mom had a lot of references that I thought everyone knew. I used them on my kids. Never occurs to me that some people are cloistered from what I am familiar with. Viva la difference!
I liked Kiki's dictionary. It has clomb in it.
Now, I have a hankering to read Murders in the Rue Morgue. Again. It was published in 1841 the first time. Still a good read. Curious. Have you heard of The Raven published in 1845? I read it in High School literature.
