This year has been crazy!! Mid October and the garden is still producing like crazy!! The cucumbers are finally starting to die off (after producing like crazy all season!!!) but other than that, everything else is still going strong!! Thriving even. Picked some veggies a little early tonight/smaller than I’d like because of the storm coming in (don’t want to lose anything to the winds & rain) but they should still ripen up fine.

Going to a dog show AND a horse show this weekend!

Was originally just going to go to the dog show but then I discovered there is also a horse show the same weekend, same location (huge fairgrounds lol) and... well... that was that.

Also have a concert on Friday but it’s at a local place so close by. So we’ll go to the concert Friday then go to the dog show (and horse show!) Saturday.

Cooler weather feels so good! Garden got frost last week while I was in NOLA. A few plants were better protected than others so still picking some peppers and okra. Tomatoes are green.
Momma hen hatched a bunch of babies from eggs I gave her and she still stays with them now that they are juvies.

Pomme Tom and Hazel are everywhere in the den each evening. Tom is up to 5.8 pounds and Hazel weighs in at 5.1 pounds. Here they are exploring the computer desk. Right after this photo they were streaking across the room!
