No pay is a bummer, but where else would you get hands on work with exotics and wildlife with no prior experience needed?

Unfortunately, a lot of newly graduated vets take the no pay route cause they need experience. Crazy Lady was in vet school for a year before life happened. Hard to pay loans back when you are working for room and board, if you are the lucky one.

Lots of her classmates told a lot of sad stories. Be prepared.

I am bushed! We worked 67 head today. We Ivomeced every one of them including tagging, banding and vaccinating 9 young fall calves. There were 44 adults that got the LA200 shots. Anything under 12 months got just Ivomec. Hubby's legs gave out before the last 28 so he worked the head gate and I helped sort and run cows thru the load chute as well as give shots.
Only have 32 to work tomorrow...will be so glad to be finished....until this time next year.
