You mean a 5 point (the way we count them). He is very uniform, nice and even on both sides.

I am pretty sure that she is just coming into heat and not quite ready to breed. They normally don't come into heat until mid November but it has been on the chilly side this month.

Do warblers use bird houses?

Google says that some species will use bird houses but not all species. Here the warblers are just passing through. I have never seen any of them stick around long enough to be nesting. They stop off on their way north and again on their way south.

I had to turn the heater on my car seat on.

I heard Lubbock snowed last night.

They even said on our news it might snow in Texas or even Florida and I was like

Ruger got two injections of L-asparaginase to try and treat his lymphoma. We go back to the oncologist on Friday to check if it’s going to work at all.

I cannot afford any of the higher level chemotherapy...this is already pushing the limits of my funds...but this dog means so much to me, I can’t just give up on him.

It's cooler here today. The low was 7°F but the high was only 16°F. It is still snowing with the current accumulation for today at 7/8" bringing the total to 16 1/4" for the month.

I "got" a buck this morning.

We’ve had quite a few hanging around lately.

These are from yesterday. Nowhere near as good as your pics but they were from inside through glass and a screen so I wouldn’t disturb them. First guy I saw when I pulled in then the others rolled through. All within a couple hours.

I think it is three different bucks and a doe from what I can tell. The third one is HUGE. At least for us. Not huge compared to your guy lol think it is the same one from a couple weeks ago but idk. Got really lucky yesterday and not only saw 4 deer in a couple hours but also had one bed down right in the backyard for a while and got to see a doe’s reaction to a buck since she was there first and he approached from across the yard. She wasn’t interested LOL actually kinda seemed scared of him. Poor guy.

Anyway, they were beautiful.

Didn’t see any today though.

She didn’t promise me anything. LOL I didn’t even tell her or anyone else until today and I did it like a week ago.

I also did a bunch of laundry today and fully cleaned the chicken coop out as well as refilling food and water and hanging the feeder and I even called the vet about the cat today (I normally hate talking on phones).

The only reward I promised her our eggs once she builds a quail cage.
I might not even have quail by the time she gets around to building one.

That was like forever you promised that though. Wasn’t in relation to the books LOL

But tbh I kinda put the idea on hold a while ago anyway. Couldn’t before with the wedding coming up and even now that it’s over I think I want to wait until after winter and/or till I have a job. I thought the new agreement was no more animals till I get a job? Haha maybe that was just no reptiles.

Either way, I’m setting that new rule myself.

Although that said, my dog business is booming right now and I’ve made a lot of money from it this month, but I still would like to get a real one.

AND after she figures out how to butcher the extra males. I added that on to my promise.

I was thinking about ordering some sex link ones so I know right away and don’t get attached haha

She probably would have but I didn’t do the books cause she promised anything. I did the books cause I woke up like 2 hours before my alarm one morning and decided to do it before work.

First of all, it wasn’t 6 months. Not even close. It was maybe 2. At most. So not sure where that 6 month number came from.

Second of all, it is WAY more books than that. That’s only like half or less. I literally have an entire bookcase just full of animal (mostly dog) books.

So it’s a lot more than it looks like and took a while to sort.

Plus they were also scattered throughout multiple rooms so I had to find and gather them first.

But yes, I fully admit that I put it off for way too long and should have had it done sooner. But I realized it and did it in one day when I decided to and now it’s done so I’m not really sure why how long it took is relevant. It’s done. Which I thought was what you guys wanted, for me to get stuff done, but maybe not judging by the response.

Also for the record I did actually work a lot this past week. Every single day. Yes even through the weekend. Had today (Tuesday) off finally but worked Monday through Monday and work again tomorrow.

I’ve been needed a lot lately and am making a lot of money this month between this and the pet sitting gig I had earlier this month.

Sunday I even went for an hour plus long walk, around 2.5 miles total all said and done, in the pouring rain and wind, and got sopping wet, just to try to tire the dogs out for when the foster dog came home. I didn’t have to do that. I just had to go back to let them out/hang out there so DB & SIL could take their time getting him (foster) but I wanted to because I knew they might not have thought of that and wanted it to go smoothly so I took it upon myself.

Put them on long lines so they could get more exercise and everything.

I even groomed them, trimmed Libby’s nails, toweled, brushed, and blow dried both of them, so they wouldn’t be sopping wet, smelly, dirty messes when they got back.

I also went back later to help introduce them/supervise/be an extra hand to hold a dog since there were 3 dogs and only two of them.

So Sunday was a long day lol

But well worth it.
