➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

yeah they're will always be the naysayers the people stuck in the past by being fed the wrong information. But oh well I bet your dog appreciates you
I think the main issue with pet CBD products is that they are largely unregulated. I bought some CBD on a whim for the street rat, and his, shall we call it, social anxiety? It did absolutely nothing. Well. I ordered five pounds of 13% CBD industrial hemp, and made my own butter for my critters. Um. HUGE difference. I used the regular ol THC/CBD stuff for my ol pittie and her back end when she needed it, and it really helped her too. The stuff bought at the stores? Not so much.

I saw something similar too. On the news a while ago. They tested a bunch of products and most either had far less CBD than they claimed or some had none. This one poor lady’s gummies had none. She said she was gonna find another supplier :lau she owned like a shop.

But they tested like bottles or whatever too. All kinds of stuff.

I was shocked.

But it makes total sense.

It’s not regulated. Even for humans. Vitamins and herbs and stuff in general aren’t.

Even supplements like at Walmart supposedly aren’t always pure. I read some other article about that. Kinda scared me haha it could have a different product than it says it does!

I know what I have is legit. I have a medical card. Most of the stuff they're testing isn't in medical shops you see in Colorado and such. I don't buy the fake stuff, I'm too scared to even try fake anything. I'm too all natural.

I was surprised with this when I went to collect eggs this late afternoon. I’ve never had it happen to me before.

Looks like blood to me. Everyone was out and about and scratching to and fro so I didn’t panic. Nothing was is the nest box. I checked. It is a white’ish egg so I knew it either came from my Andalusian (Iris) or Daisy. I waited for my hubby to come home from work and once they were all up on the roosts for the night, that was when we checked both girls. Daisy’s vent looked normal to me. We checked Iris’s and she’s got some spiky feather shafts down there. Maybe 1/2 in long? Give or take. It almost looks like the feathers are trying to grow towards (and down in to) her vent. Could those spikes cause the blood issue? We are thinking she was the one that laid the egg. If she did, it does look bigger than what she’s laid before so maybe it is just a big egg? I haven’t cracked open the egg yet. We were going to do so in the morning. Anyone else have an egg come out like this before?
