I think I'll send it to Banty instead. I gotta let it sit a little while, though, so the pastels don't smear. I think if I lay down parchment paper, then cardboard, and more cardboard, that it will be ok.

Is it oil or chalk pastel?
They also have a “workable fixative” that lets you add workable layers on top of large/messy pieces. Useful stuff.

I've wanted that for ages. I currently use hair spray... because I'm cheap. Maybe one of these years.
