I'm just not made out for BYC. Every time I say what I do someone always has something to say that takes a dog at what I'm doing.

I'll still never forget the day I had people messaging me flipping a lid because I'm plant based and raising meat chickens for my family. Calling me a muderer... I've dealt with so much from this community in a short time and it's just wearing on me.

I think it is interesting. You are very open and truthful. Terrible that some people can't accept that.

Yes, I've ran into a couple people also. Such is life.

Meat chickens are great. Much better tasting than grocery store. I started this thinking I wasn't duck hunting and store chicken was meh. The doors that are open now. Keep doing you. We'll support you.

I really don’t think anyone was attacking you. Just stating their opinions. If it works for you, that’s great!!

I’m sorry you dealt with that. There are definitely some really shitty people on this site!! But no one on this thread is one of them in my experience.

We don’t always agree or see eye to eye, but they’re all good people.

Hopefully you decide to stick around and can see that.

Mine have never been on heartworm prevention in their life, I have never had a dog in my 32 years ever have heartworm or take heartworm medication. They're tested every year. I've never had a dog with Lyme disease either.

I use an herbal concoction to keep mosquitoes, ticks, and fleas off them. It was made by a veterinarian and works amazing.

My chickens have never had any type of dewormer and they've been tested for worms by the vet. I've never given them antibiotics either. I've never fed my chicks medicated feed either.

I'm old school, but I'm in my 30s. I've learned my farming stuff from a vet I work for and from my father who lived on a farm until he was 20.

I can't take much more lol little things like saying "Home cooked meals are not a balanced diet" will set me off because I've worked with the local vet to perfect nutritionally balanced home cooked meals. I take stuff like that to heart.

Hahaha DE is not on my property it's dusty and useless to me.

I used it once for ticks in the yard 5 years ago and that's the last time I ever used it.
