➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

DD#2 eloped. I'd asked her to wait for graduation. Since they are married with little income, all kinds of grants and scholarships popped up. She is happy.

DD#1 is planning a environmentally conscious wedding. She has her budget and is now fretting all the costs. I'm glad I'm not marrying her. I'd have called it off months ago. 4 months until the wedding still. Since she has what she wants in her mind, she is doing it all. A lot of stress for naught. My hope is everything goes smooth.

Should I wear bib overalls or rent a Tux to walk down the isle? She "is leaving it up to me", which means I won't make the right choice no matter what. If I do the overalls, I will hose down the chicken boots to get the chicken chit off. Really completes the ensemble. ;)

Overalls with no shirt.

Overalls with no shirt.
If'n I do that, I'd only button one shoulder strap and go barefoot. March may still be too cool for that. I doubt it will be out of the 70's by then.

BIL went to a nature wedding where the Bride and Groom got married au natural. He said that if he knew that, he wouldn't have showed up. Not something he wanted to see. :sick

That's July weather, dear.

:th Well, I sure hope the flower girls weren't girls any more. I can't believe they didn't send out a warning.

I'd say you're better off than most who have already been divorced at your age because they thought getting married in their 20s would be a great idea.

I didn't do a big wedding. It's not my thing, I don't like being the center of attention. We just eloped.

Hmm that’s a good point. Never thought of it like that. Thanks.

And yeah, it’s not really my thing either but I know my family will probably will probably want one and I kinda do too haha just don’t think I’ll make it huge.

Let's just say My husband got married in his twenties and got divorced 14 years later... My brother also got married and got divorced 2 years later...

It's better to find the one and wait than to rush things... Patience young one :pop
