Also going to my mom’s tomorrow and painting mason jars for candles. Not sure how that’ll work yet, I’m winging it lol.

Me and hubby both finished finals yesterday. Feels surreal haha. This break is going to go by way too fast.
Almost done buying everything, but I’m making some of the gifts and haven’t started yet lol.
I'm doing the rest of my shopping tomorrow. I have an Xbox, nieces and nephew presents, and my parents presents, sweatshirts, and several gift cards to get. I am doing it all online tomorrow.

you hit the nail on the head turk. What I meant was life skills will ready someone for the simple and the harder things in life TO COPE with what life brings. If she can't handle a simple dog nip what about when something serious happens.
And since you brought it up

Speaking of Christmas, anybody got all their shopping done yet?
Critter! Good to hear from you. Gotta love finding a hidden nest, right? It's always a good time. Here is an amusing story (at least to me).
Egg production is almost at a standstill at the moment except for one of my Australorps that is laying every other to every couple of days and my trooper Amber. She’s a calico princess. She lays every day. Even through her soft molt, poor thing. Well, with the crazy high and low temps we’ve had, I thought it was messing their production even more. We went a few days with only 1 egg and days without any eggs.... or so I thought. Looks like Amber found a new spot.

I had this bag of shavings in the corner of littles coop. I pulled it out because I was going to do a thorough clean and there they were. I’m surprised that none of them broke lol. Since this day, she’s managed to lay in a bag of shavings twice so far. I’ve even had the top folded over so it wasn’t open. She manages to open it and wiggle herself inside. These birds just make me chuckle some times.
For sure! She’s not even trying to sit. She just liked the quiet place away to lay her egg in peace. It just made me chuckle.Critter! Good to hear from you. Gotta love finding a hidden nest, right? It's always a good time.
