I think treats are bad.

The recommendation for treats is no more than 10% of the total diet. Scratch is considered a treat. Scratch was never meant to be added to the feed but was designed to be thrown on the ground to provide an enticement to get the hens scratching around and picking up grit.

I can't wait until the day that someone actually tells me I'm doing a good job on my chickens I'll probably have a heart attack the day it happens.

I throw half the feed on the ground because that's the way the ducks like it. It may change once Sid is gone!

I give mine scraps after dinner, it's usually fruits and veggies.

My dad eats ice cream every night at 9. He's been doing this since I was a kid.

I don't think my chickens would even eat ice cream be funny to see though.
