Anyone ever use a neti pot?

Just had my husband do it because he has sinus issues and the ent recommended it.

My hubby loves to use one. He swears by them. I, personally, have never used one. I have an issue with purposely putting water up my nose. Idk. Reminds me of when I was young and would swim and ooooh the burn! They don't "work" like that but still. Weirds me out. I'm a weirdo.

His is more because of a car wreck he got into. He had facial reconstruction, they couldn't fix it 100%. He gets major migraines and doing surgery again would be too risky plus ineffective. His nose was basically flat to his face and his cheek bones completely shattered. Feel bad for him but he's so handsome! But he left work today early because he couldn't handle the pain. I made him Lavendar honey tea and gave him warm compresses. He slept most of the day.

Awww, I hope he feels better soon! I was in a car accident when I was a teen (I was a passenger). It about obliterated (the medical tern they used) one of my sinus cavities (I went face first in to the windshield). I healed but as I have gotten older, I find that I get seasonal migraines and sinus pressure issues. They suck!

There was a special on Stan Lee on ABC that I watched most of. Celebrating Marvel’s Stan Lee. All about his life and stuff. I really liked it. Very interesting.

I have been asking my daughter, what does your boyfriend want for Christmas? I need some ideas so I can shop. She asks him. He answers, I don't know. This does not help me at all. I said, tell him I said to come up with some stuff and to make me a list with some ideas and I will go from there. I wait, and wait and wait. But she would ask him, "Have you made a list for mom yet?" Noooo. She says, I am going to just tell her to get you tennis balls and a jar of peanut butter (for their dog). He just shakes his head like whatever, I will come up with something. This has been going on for like 2 weeks. Finally she comes up with an idea and it is something for him. She will get him 1 part, I will get him the other. She asks him again, knowing we have already got it figured out and gets the same answer, "Nooo, I plan on doing that when I get home tonight". She tells him the tennis balls and peanut butter remark and he just shakes his head whatever. He finally gives her a list the next evening and she tells him that he is too late. But as a gag gift, guess who is getting to unwrap tennis balls and a jar of peanut butter?!? Oh I hope I can keep a straight face!

Thankfully I don’t think they will, the didn’t fly out of the much shorter stock tank even though the heat plate provided much needed height. They did spook a bit though when I first came over or messed with them too much and I did have a couple fly out yesterday doing that but otherwise they don’t really have a reason to fly out and seem to like staying in lol and this one is much bigger and much more room to explore. So here’s hoping they don’t.

They’ve never seen my brother before though so who knows what they’ll do haha

But they’ll probably just run to the other side of the brooder and/or go under the heat plate lol

they seem to prefer to run and huddle together or under something than fly towards the scary thing

But they might test their wings with all the new space hahahah

I bet $20 most of them are going to fly out.

My sister uses a neti pot and says it really helps.
Hubby just flushes his sinus with saline water in a needle less syringe.

Made me remember...had a student in one of my junior high art classes show me a trick....he snorted a beaded chain up his nose and out his mouth. It was all I could do to keep a straight face and not gag.

I hope not! It’s 4 foot tall fencing so I’d be really surprised if they could. Although I did cut a section of the fence right behind the food and water so my brother could change it without going in so that part is a little lower. But he says they’re all there this morning.

Probably going to be shavings kicked everywhere even outside and will probably be a big mess but I’m hoping they stay in. It’s way bigger than their previous area so they’ve got plenty to explore haha
