The only black eyed peas I know of are the band.

We were just talking about this... What does everyone eat on New year's Eve. In New England most people get Chinese. People who grew up in VA eat black eye peas

My wife roasts them in the oven with some type if basting they are excellent. Get the big fresh ones about as thick as a thumb and about 8" long

I like black eyed peas slow cooked with hot sauce over rice.

Want, yes. Need, no. If I had a reason, I would. Checked Amazon and about that price regularly. I do like the white. I've got a red La Creuset 1.5 quart that I use a bit. Holds 2 quail and 1 cup of quinoa. Delicious.

My Kroger had the Chinese ones and I passed. If the Lodge lasts long enough to drop to less than $35, get me all of them.

Black eyed peas, onions and garlic cooked all day with a pig's neck bone and served over sweet cornbread. I'm out of fresh jalapenos, so a double heaping tablespoon of store bought pickled peppers for taste.

I think I (wife) have an ongoing list somewhere. We learned to just look at everyday stuff and think if that would be a good candidate. I think it's so new it hasn't really cought on to have a standard list of stuff basically
