That’s a good way too! I like the lease cause you can get a new car and all the benefits without having to do anything like maintenance or buy it outright :lau

Although it is nice to own it.

I might buy this one at the end if I like it. Idk. I didn’t like the other one that much and also they were asking way too much to buy it back so we just handed it in. Plus if you leased something else from them you don’t have to pay the damages which is good because I had a few scratches and dings and stuff and a couple stains which they would have charged for every single tiny little thing.

Fords are nice though. I really like Toyota’s too and really wanted one of those bright blue RAV4’s but the RAV’s are just too expensive right now for whatever reason so I just went with another Outback.

I do love the heated seats haha
Leasing a vehicle is no different than renting a home. You pay out lots of money and end up with nothing in the long run.

My brothers truck payment probably costs a lot 😂 more than half a mortgage 😒 It's amazing how cars and trucks have increased in price over the years.

Used vehicles are even expensive especially 4x4 trucks. Best part about down here is we don't get rusted out vehicles from salt.

Oh wow that’s crazy! Haha my brother and SIL have probably spent a ton on their cars too. They’ve bought 2 the last few years :th

Super nice ones too.

And yeah the no salt is nice hahah

If you are happy with it that is great :love

just when you said it was cheaper... well I had a different opinion. :old

Yeah I know and I’m fine with that because I know it’s not for everybody but it’s just for me, at this current time, I would rather lease. And even though I won’t own it at the end so maybe not cheaper long term, it is technically cheaper at least in the moment because it would have been like $500/month probably to buy it and I got it for way less.

Yes I know but there are benefits to it too. Like not having to deal with the maintenance and it still being under warranty the whole time. And being able to get a new car every few years for pretty cheap. I know those aren’t really enough reasons for some people or seems stupid or whatever but for me it’s the best option right now. I didn’t want to buy a car and lots of other people don’t either. There are advantages and disadvantages to both and personally I would rather not deal with owning a car right now.

And just as an example, one advantage is the brakes and tires were starting to go on the last car, the tires were very very worn, practically no tread left, and I also had just gotten a flat recently... I got to just hand the car in instead of having to replace all of the tires and brakes.

For me, that’s a huge advantage right now.
