He found a really small egg with my duck's egg. I don't know who laid it I don't think it was one of the ducks because the ducks have been laying huge eggs. It looked cute though, it was a quarter of the size of the duck egg.

I would find fart eggs in the duck pen once in a while. Had the hard shell like the other duck eggs do that ruled out the chickens. Sometimes there was a yolk but most often just the white inside.

I'll have to check if it has a yolk when I cook it for the dogs or the family. I'm sure I'll have a lot of eggs soon where I don't know the layer. My Halloween chicks should lay eggs in a few months I'd think.

I'm going to once I know how many ducklings will hatch. He has a HUGE pond at his house so I know these little ducklings will be so happy. He's a huge animal person and I'm glad we met him even if it was to re-home our roosters, but it worked out in a weird way. Now we have a good relationship and if I ever need eggs he will give them to me. That way I can get new blood lines in my flock without having to keep more roosters.

I keep tea bags in a jar with a sealed lid and put those moisture snatcher gizmos in there. Helps to keep the tea dry.
