Not too too badly though! Chewy is like $5 flat rate shipping unless you’re over like $50 then it’s free so it would have worked out to about the same as what they charged you and you would have had to wait a few days for it to get there. Not sure what the $15 one charges in shipping. But don’t feel too bad! They always up charge. That’s how they make their money.
I once bought a tube of cat toothpaste for like $15 (I know
) and turns out it was the same exact kind I had bought a few years before online for like $10, or actually I think it was $7 or $8 at the time I had bought it, except that one was a kit that included two toothbrushes! Mine didn’t include anything. So I felt pretty ripped off hahaBut they said I should start brushing her teeth since she had some tarter/was developing gum disease and I’d thought of it brushing before so bought it. Forgot I had the other one/thought it’d be a special kind!!
Actually, they told me they “had some they could give me” which, to me, implies a free sample, so I said sure but then it was a full size one I had to buy. But by then they had already gone and gotten it out of the back and I felt bad so I just bought it haha
In your case though, I think it’ll help the faker. But we did actually have another vet for Gator who we loved because he didn’t charge us an arm and a leg for medicines! He was very reasonable and didn’t upsell us or anything. I should actually go back to him haha
I like Luna’s vets, they’re nice and everything and are great with her, but last time I was there they tried to get me to do a full blood work panel and urinalysis and everything for like $200
I said no when I heard the price
Granted it was a different vet than we usually see but still.
They have to sell stuff to make money but also probably thought it would help him.
But next time I’d def research online and if it’s not an emergency, try to buy meds online.
that's the most I've eaten since I've been home. I guess I was craving Mexican. The tortilla shells only have 10 mg of sodium. Usually they have 200+ per shell!
