She most likely will lay again and for years to come, just not at the frequency that she laid during her first year. The stress of adjusting to a new home is most likely the cause for her current failure to lay.Anyone know how long Rhode island reds lay for? I got one today that's 3 or 4 today, her whole flock was killed by a raccoon... Can I assume she will never lay again? Or will some TLC help her lay again?

She just came here today. She wasn't laying at her other home, but all 3 of her flock members were killed and taken by a raccoon. So I'm hoping she will adjust here. She most likely will lay again and for years to come, just not at the frequency that she laid during her first year.
