Here's a little cuteness to tide you over.

We went to Cabela's today to look for ammo and shotgun shell reload supplies. The boys were both fascinated by the stuffed animals. Thing 1 was particularly fascinated by this Puma jumping out of a tree. I walked right under it without knowing and he pulled on my arm and said "What's that?" It was a bit of a shocker to look up and see one looking like it is leaping out of a tree. I told him it was a Puma. While we were in that section, he kept telling anyone that went to walk under it that "It's a Puma!"

Just a little while ago, Thing 2 was playing with his nativity set and singing "Mary had a little lamb". He doesn't have all the words but the tune is recognizable. I then realized why he was singing that song. I've been telling him the names of all the characters in the nativity set. Smart little stinker. He's only 17 months old.

How are you liking your new house?

Loving it. We'll probably have to redo the floors and moldings in 5-7 years because the stuff they put in is cheap but it is really nice to have a new space that is fairly easy to clean.

We had a Christmas party at our church last night and another church in Missouri gave all the kids in our church a sack full of Christmas presents. Thing 1’s favorite present has to be the package of 8 different superhero capes and masks. They are all slightly “of brand” but still recognizable. He’s having a lot of fun with it. Here he is as Ironman.
