Hogs and nutria are destroying the marsh by me I do know thats happening. And I know you know about that damn hydrilla or whatever that plant is that overtake the waterways in the summer

there are plenty of peeps willing to hunt the hogs but unfortunately they are seen as more of cash cow by states like yours than a nuisance
