I've heard that a good anaesthesiologist can make a big difference. I've been completely under once and have sworn that I'm never doing it again given the choice. Someone I know who works in hospital administration swears that I just had a bad anaesthesiologist, but I think something went very wrong.

I was really sick when I woke up, I couldn't get warm. There were nurses all around piling warm towels around and on me. It was awful.

I had a woman ( she looked like she couldn't be 20) the last time I had surgery. I was trying to Meditate before surgery, and she kept yakking her head off. I told her I was trying to meditate. When I woke up, hearing her yakking away, I said "You ain't shut up yet?". I was highly irritated.
