No. She told someone she didn't want to be a nurse or a doctor, "I have to listen to all that gory stuff at dinner." She will be studying neuroscience or something like that. Things are moving so fast, the job she gets may not even exist today.

My mom had a friend (she died) that was an ER nurse at Ben Taub hospital in the Houston medical center...she used to tell us the craziest stories about her nights.
Vodka was her best friend. Poor thing.

Nursing gives you the best stories you can never tell. (HIPPA) 🤐 ER probably has the best.
I tell new nurses they should get a journal and the stories will write themselves. When you retire ( and don't need your license anymore) you can write the tell all book and retire.

And if he starts with nurse and likes it, he could consider nurse anesthetist
