⭐ Kiki's Year Long 🌶️

i’m pretty sure that my vet does exotics....DS took his guinea pigs in for checkups and nail trimming pre-covid.
That’s awesome!! More and more vets are starting to see exotics I think because they’re soooo popular and also more and more people are keeping backyard chickens too and willing to take all of these animals to the vet so I think more are seeing the potential lol

Rabbits are considered exotic but they are almost as popular as dogs and cats!
Now I've been looking at rat tricks..
Its actually really cool that they can do all those things. They're really smart

Yeah, true! Rabbits are huge popular!! And so are the small pets like guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, budgies, reptiles, etc. etc. so I’m glad more are starting to see exotics!

And right!? I never realized it till several years ago when I followed a rat blog haha it’s so awesome.

I heard about an IT cable tech who trained his pet rats to pull string through cable pipes so he could tie the string to the cables and pull it through. Saved a lot of headache and kept some walls from needing to be torn open.

That’s amazing!! I’ve heard of some of them being able to sniff out diseases in people and bombs and stuff. Rats are amazing little creatures. ❤️
