⭐ Kiki's Year Long 🌶️

I got more of this done when I was working by myself than I did when I had "helpers".

My helpers and I got this far.

What's going on here?
Pulling up 4' high grass. I figure I could turn it into mulch. It can inhibit weed growth in place while my greenhouse is being built, then once I move up there, I can use it in my garden beds. Free mulch for the win!

I didn't have any of my garden tools with me, but the ground was really soft and I could pull clumps up pretty easily, so that's what I did. Pull 'em up, lay 'em down. I only got part of the front yard done. I still need to get the back of the property by my shed done too. Most of the lot is getting run over by the builders so it's bare dirt.

Someone dumped a bunch of construction garbage on the lot before I bought it, but once that was gone, the earth beneath is quite rich. I think I will have good gardening.

Mcgyvering skills solved a minor setback. Took going to 3 stores and mulling the idea over in the back of my brain while working on clients and the whole round trip drive time today….

I’m going to do a few pictures for before, during & after… then installed on the 3-point finish mower.

Now to mentally shift gears, change outta scrubs and get into “grubby T-shirt & shorts”.

You do you….
